Cardi B is no stranger to controversy, and the singer has found herself in yet another one after hurling a microphone at the audience when some of them threw beverages at her. This occurred during a brief appearance at Drai’s Beach Club in Las Vegas.

According to the Daily Mail, in a viral video uploaded on Pop Base Twitter on Saturday, the ‘WAP’ hitmaker was seen flinging the microphone onstage after being splattered by a drink thrown by a fan.
It wasn’t the first time either, as the rapper, who had just released a new song with her husband Offset called ‘Jealousy,’ opted to utilise her microphone for something other than singing this weekend. Cardi was performing at Drai’s Beach Club the night before when she became agitated because the DJ was allegedly cutting off her songs too soon.
A netizen released a video of the entertainer proclaiming her name before spinning around and flinging the microphone in the direction of the DJ as if she were throwing a football, before walking off stage.

The viral video shows Cardi, born Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, wearing a busty bright orange dress while performing her 2018 hit ‘Bodak Yellow’ on stage in the daylight hours, and raises the microphone up to her face for another verse, before suddenly a spray of liquid is seen hitting her in the face from a drink a cup in the audience.
Cardi is stunned for a few moment before becoming enraged and swinging into action, throwing the microphone at someone in the audience, likely the drink-tosser.
Meanwhile, the soundtrack to her song, complete with her voice, plays in the background. Cardi B is then seen adjusting her hair while stage security appears to control the mob situation.
Fans in Las Vegas reportedly had to wait two hours in extreme heat before the artist arrived to perform. As she grumbled about the severe heat in Sin City, the hip-hop artist reportedly requested fans to pour water on her.
This isn’t the first time this has happened; in 2022, crowds hurled paper balls at her during a concert in the United States, which enraged her and caused her to yell nasty insults before storming off stage. The audience was more amused than upset as a result, though many did grumble about wanting their money back.
