Hugh Jackman is giving fans a first look at “Deadpool 3.”
He posted a snapshot of himself in a yellow outfit from the comic book series to Instagram. He claims that his reappearance as Wolverine has no bearing on “Logan,” the 2017 “X-Men” tale that killed him off.
In the film, Jackman co-stars with Ryan Reynolds.
Reynolds also shared the photo on his Instagram account, captioning it, “Don’t blink.” In the story, he included emojis of both of their characters.
In a video released in September, Reynolds revealed Jackman’s return, saying, “I’ve had to really search my soul on this one.” His debut appearance in the MCU must certainly be memorable. We need to be authentic to the character while also finding new depth, motive, and meaning for each Deadpool. It’s been a wonderful challenge that has pushed me to dig deep within myself.”
Deadpool has returned to Marvel after a brief stint at Fox.
The cast of “Deadpool 3” also includes Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen. Elektra will be played by Jennifer Garner.
The film will be released in theatres on May 3, 2024.
