Authorities were looking for a guy suspected of killing three men and a woman in Georgia on Saturday.Andre Longmore, 40, of Hampton, Georgia, is thought to be armed and dangerous, according to Hampton Police Chief James Turner during a news conference.
Police were looking for a shooter who they believe killed four people in a Georgia suburb on Saturday morning in an unrelated shooting. The incident was reported about 10:45 a.m. in a residential neighbourhood of Hampton, Georgia, a city about 35 miles south of Atlanta, according to Hampton Police Chief James Turner. Turner reported at the news conference that three men and one woman were killed, and that there were “at least four crime scenes.” Officials did not identify the victims publicly and stated that family were still being notified.
Authorities said they had issued four arrest warrants for Andre Longmore, 40, of Hampton. The motivation for the shootings was unknown, and it was unclear whether Longmore knew the victims, according to officials.
Longmore, who was last seen driving a black GMC Acadia SUV, was being sought by law enforcement agencies throughout the Atlanta metropolitan region. The vehicle, according to the chief, did not belong to Longmore.
At the news conference, Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett addressed Longmore, saying, “We will hunt you down in any hole that you may be residing in and bring you into custody.”
According to the sheriff, the sheriff’s office is offering a $10,000 prize for information leading to Longmore’s capture and prosecution.
“The city of Hampton has had a tragedy,” stated Hampton Mayor Ann Tarpley. “We request that you keep the families and victims in your prayers and thoughts, and that you give them the privacy they require.”
